English Runes Set in Yew

These are the 29 English Runes of the Old English Rune Poem as featured in my book The English Runes: Secrets of Magic, Spells and Divination available on Amazon.

Handmade; I have created these runes to enable you to colour, blood and dress them as you feel right.  I have initially connected each rune to Wyrd using Galdor, the Old English name for magically intoning, chanting or singing each rune name.

They will be contained in a plain calico bag which you can also decorate to your taste; suggestions on finishing your runes will also be included.

Yews are evergreen making them sacred; they stay green connecting them with youth and they appear to have everlasting life. Yew trees release toxins into the air on hot days, which can cause hallucinations and is a good reason for their use in sacred rites.  The Yew is a fruit bearing tree. Sets made from other woods will be available in the future, if you prefer to have yours made out of a specific wood please let me know.

The English Runes: Secrets of Magic, Spells and Divination

You may be familiar with Runes, an old European lettering system. They can be found widely in literature and film; however, these Runes are usually the Elder Futhark. What people are less aware of is that the English have their own Runes, steeped in the heritage of an ancient land. Runes rooted in the culture of the early English and whose sound is part of the birth of the English language. Discover The Old English Rune Poem and, through this, find out more about the lives of the early English and their runes.

This book was written not only to spark interest, but also as a personal journey for those who wish to learn about runes, primarily the English runes. It is about runic magic, magical experience, spells and divination, containing practical exercises to deepen your connection with runes, nature and wyrd.
